The Community Foundation in Wales is looking to appoint a Manager, Donor-Advised Giving (Part-Time).

This post is for 2.5 days a week and will be based in the Cardiff office. We are happy to agree a work pattern to suit the right candidate. Salary is up to £35k pro rata.

This post will be responsible for developing philanthropy and Donor-Advised Giving - an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of one of the biggest growth trends in fundraising, with forecasts that Donor-Advised giving is due to grow threefold in the next 10 years.

The Foundation has given more than £20m to people and community groups across Wales since it was formed – quite a success story.  There are some incredibly powerful human stories to be told ranging from projects connecting rural villages through young people and art to young people being supported to achieve in arts, business and sports.

The ideal candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of warm supporters, whilst also focusing on planning and orchestrating approaches to new supporters capable of significant donations. With an active and enabling Board of Trustees, this is an unparalleled opportunity for a major gifts expert to take the charity’s philanthropic giving to the next level.  The ability to work closely and effectively with professional advisers will be important.
