How to Get a Grant

As voluntary and community groups are well aware, funding is getting harder and harder to find.

This is why The Community Foundation's grants programmes are playing an increasingly important role in our communities and making a huge difference to the lives of people in most need throughout Wales.

A locally-based charity or voluntary group that is interested in applying for a grant should begin by contacting the Grants Administrator to check its eligibility and to have an informal chat about its ideas.

Eligible projects are sent a straightforward application form. All applications we receive are carefully assessed, and decisions are made by grants committees.
