Graduate Trainee - Development Assistant
Salary: 14,000-16,192 pro rata for a six month placement, with possibility of a full-time position after that. Location: Cardiff
The Community Foundation in Wales is looking to recruit a graduate trainee for a six month placement, with a view to the trainee being then able to apply for a full-time, permanent position at the Foundation. During the placement, the trainee will work towards achieving the skills, competencies and behaviours necessary to then apply for the role of Development Assistant - a key role in underpinning the Fund development work of the Foundation through: administration and clerical tasks in support of the business development function, particularly the Fund for Wales and BIG Match Challenge co-ordinating and organising fund development activity. The role would also act as Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.

The Community Foundation in Wales is looking to recruit a graduate trainee for a six month placement, with a view to the trainee being then able to apply for a full-time, permanent position at the Foundation. During the placement, the trainee will work towards achieving the skills, competencies and behaviours necessary to then apply for the role of Grants Assistant – a key role providing administrative support in our busy office, working as an assistant to the Philanthropy and Business Manager. The Grants Assistant will underpin the business development and philanthropy elements of our work with their administration, creative, communication and organisation skills.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
