
Christopher Gregory has been awarded the Community Foundation in Wales Prize at the 2010 Undergraduate Prize-giving at Cardiff Business School. The award of £200 was given for Best Performance in the Managing Public Services Module.
The Community Foundation in Wales has established funds that are dedicated to supporting education and this award is an example of supporting students in Cardiff. This prize has been awarded for many years to recognise excellence in education and to support young people.
Christopher, who is originally from Hereford, was awarded the prize for his academic achievement the second year module Managing Public Services, attaining the highest mark in his class.
On receiving his prize, Christopher said “Winning this prize means a lot to me, not only because of the personal sense of achievement but also because The Community Foundation in Wales were kind enough to reward my efforts”
When Christopher completes his degree, he hopes to stay in Cardiff and develop his business skills. He is currently working towards a Certificate of Professional Development in Personal Effectiveness, Leadership and Communication which will help him succeed in his chosen career.
